Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and Impact Assessment Research Leader (WorldFish)

Cristiano Rossignoli is the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and Impact Assessment Research Leader for WorldFish and the FISH CRP. Cristiano is an Agricultural Economist with a PhD in Agricultural Economics (Animal Health Economics) and an MSc in Animal Production Science from University of Pisa (Italy), and an MSc in Sustainable Aquaculture from Stirling University (UK).

Cristiano has more than 10 years of experience of Impact Assessment and M&E applied to both research projects and complex programmes of international cooperation aiming to support livelihoods, nutrition and food security, and resilience of smallholders in both developing and developed contexts. Previously he worked as a research fellow at the University of Pisa (Italy) and for relevant organizations, such as FAO and Oxfam, in different countries such as Afghanistan, Gaza Strip, Mali, Senegal, Thailand, among others.
