WorldFish Workshop: Small Fish for Nutrition

Phnom Penh, Cambodia

On 3 December 2019, WorldFish Cambodia will be organizing Small Fish for Nutrition Final Workshop for Managing Aquatic Agricultural Systems to Improve Nutrition and Livelihoods in Cambodia Project, co-funded by European Union (EU) and International Fund For Agricultural Development (IFAD).

Through this workshop, it will bring the opportunity to assemble the project's researchers, along with key partners and beneficiaries, to present the final results, as well as, lessons learned of the project. The discussion will also be centered on ways to scale project technologies and innovation in the future.

The Managing Aquatic Agricultural Systems to Improve Nutrition and Livelihoods project uses an integrated aquaculture-agriculture nutrition linkage approach to support poor, rural households in wetlands systems in Cambodia to improve the production and productivity of small indigenous species of fish in household aquaculture ponds and increase consumption of micronutrient-rich small fish and vegetables.
