WorldFish MYCulture Closing Workshop

Organized by WorldFish Myanmar, The MYCulture Closing Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, 11 December 2019 at the Thingaha Nay Pyi Taw Hotel in Myanmar. This workshop is the final event for the WorldFish project, Promoting the sustainable growth of aquaculture in Myanmar to improve food security and income for communities in the Ayeyarwady Delta and Central Dry Zone (MYFC) funded by Livelihood and Food Security Trust Fund (LIFT).

Partners and government bodies from Myanmar Department of Fisheries (DOF), Group For Research and Technology Exchanges (GRET), Network Activities Group (NAG), PACT, Hellen Keller International, and Pan Taing Shin representative will be gathering at the one-day workshop to present the key achievement, lesson learned and success stories from the beneficiaries.

Runs from October 2015 to December 2019, the four-years project goal is to promote sustainable growth of the aquaculture sector to improve the income, food and nutrition security of small-scale producers and communities in the Ayeyarwady Delta and central dry zone (CDZ), with particular focus on women and children.
