Fish for Thoughts: Dried Fish Matters

WorldFish Headquarters, Malaysia

Don't miss the upcoming Fish for Thought event this Friday, 6 December 2019, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM GMT +8 (time zone converter), for what promises to be an exciting presentation by Professor Derek Johnson, project director of the Dried Fish Matters project.

Professor Johnson will introduce us to the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada-funded project Dried Fish Matters: Mapping the Social Economy of Dried Fish in South and Southeast Asia for Enhanced Wellbeing and Nutrition.

The presentation will give us an overview of the project's social economy conceptualization and the efforts to operationalize that idea in the context of a large, multi-country, multi-partner research initiative.

Moreover, professor Johnson will share with us his reflections from building the Dried Fish Matters team and will present some of the rich empirical insights the project is generating.

Walk in the auditorium at WorldFish HQ, or join the live broadcast via MS Teams!
