The Diseases in Asian Aquaculture (DAA) series is held once in every three years and for 2021, the DAA11 symposium will bring together professionals, academicians, and field experts to discuss the core aspects of aquatic animal health.

Hosted by the Fish Health Section of the Asian Fisheries Society (AFS-FHS), the virtual discussion will identify pathways for research developments, trends and the future of the aquatic animal health industry. WorldFish’s Sustainable Aquaculture Research Program Lead, Vishnumurthy Mohan Chadag, will draw on his research work on anti-microbial resistance and biosecurity in sustainable aquaculture to discuss cutting-edge research in fish and shrimp health management.
